synopsis

Tristan is a man who knows what he wants. And he wants Kat in his bed. All he has to do is convince her they belong together . . .

Kat knows the connection she and Tristan share is special. Her British bad boy is too much of everything: too hot, too arrogant, too irresistible to stay away from. He’s her addiction and one night with him isn’t enough.

That’s what hurts the most. They can’t date, can’t be a normal couple, not when their parents are getting married. Because now that she knows he’s going to be her stepbrother, no one can ever find out what they’ve done . . .

review

After reading the first in the Colony series, I was keen to read another book in this series and lucky for me . The wait wasn’t too long for the second novel  and it didn’t disappoint.

It has been a while since the first book and things haven’t changed  for The Colony since the events of the first book. They are still trying to deal with the aftermath and it hard. However that is  going to take a little back step as we first need to meet our new leads.

Kristen Webster is no ordinary woman. She a FBI sex crimes officer who has seen  some horrific things and  she decides  needs  a new life. She  grown vary of the  job, not being able to leave work at work.  She wants more  and she isn’t going to get in on Earth .  She has volunteered for the Program, in the hopes that  she can get all her needs meet. Especially her secret desires that she keeps locked in her heart.

A need to be dominated and loved .   Who no better then a Pillion warrior who will meet all those needs. However like her predecessors, Kirsten isn’t  ready as much she think is for her new mates

Hunt and Tyran who are responsible for helping new arrivals to the Colony adjust to things. They are best friends and whilst they  made peace of what happened to them, they still want what ever other male on the Colony wants, a bride/mate. After their governor found their’s.  The men have been hopefully but things are getting to breaking point for these two.

Until hope, arrives in the form of Kristen, a solely need emotion in this community where they are abandon and left to their own way of things.  Hunt and Tyran are determined  to make most of this gift that has bestowed on them. However Kristen may left earth but she isn’t ready to take a back step.

She  ready to be put to work and she isn’t gong to let them have their way. And   these three are in for a ride for their life.  The Colony is about to get very interesting again

The  second installment is as thrilling as the last installment. Whilst now  you probably realise that the beginning is the same formula before the real story gets going.  There is where you get the drama, action , the twists and turn. This what keeps me coming back to the books. The action and the adventures that the characters get into  whilst trying to make a new relationship work.

It was an interesting relationship this one, as the men were totally different individuals  when it came to things. Add in Kristen who had emotional baggage thank to her job and the fact she had to bottle up things. It made for some interesting and heated moments.   I loved they had their moments whilst continuing from the last  book and dealing with those problems.  Goodwin, really made this series a community one and  I can’t wait to read the third instalment and now what happened next.

Once upon a time, a young girl was born into an average, working class family. The wee little girl, convinced she was not an average child but was, in fact, a fairy princess, longed to leave the mundane world behind and live her dreams. She grew up, went to school, and when she’d grown too big to wear tutus and tiaras in public without drawing unwanted attention, turned to writing down her fantasies instead.

Now a bit older, her fantasies have grown to include sexually dominant men who know how to ensure a woman’s pleasure. Grace believes all women should be treated like princesses, in the bedroom and out of it, and writes love stories where men know how to make their women feel pampered, protected and very well taken care of.

She currently lives in Oregon where she spends her days writing, and her nights in the arms of her very own Prince.
