Book Blurb :
Vanna has prepared her entire life to become a vampire. It is her destiny. Red-headed, constantly laughing, Russ is not her destiny. Although he claims to be a vampire, he’s clearly human, and she shouldn’t be attracted to him. She certainly shouldn’t love him.
Russ is a vampire. He’s also a romantic fool. He wants Vanna to love him for who he is and not merely for his paranormal powers. He is content to slowly seduce her with sizzling backroom sex and woo her with his questionable knowledge of all things undead.
Russ is about to discover he isn’t the only vampire in the big city.
Review:
Vanna is sure she’s destined to be a vampire and she acts like she thinks they act. And although Russ tells her he is one of them, she doesn’t believe him because he doesn’t act like one.
Russ knows Vanna is his beloved, but he wants to be chosen for who he is, not for what he is.
When a rock star thought to be a vampire comes in town, she decides to be one of the turned. Just when Vonna is in danger, she realizes that all she believed about vampires has been wrong.
Russ’s face flushed more and more with each taunting word, his eyes blazing crimson with rage. He was the antithesis of the passionless vampire, his body radiating red-hot emotion.
Vanna had been wrong. She’d been wrong about everything.
And that Russ was the real thing.
Russ knew a vampire. Vanna covered her mouth. He had read her thoughts. In the heat of passion, he’d bitten her. He’d told her he was a vampire when they’d first met. She hadn’t believed him.
Although I enjoyed reading this book, it let me down a bit. This book wasn’t as wonderful as the previous books from the series. 4 couples.
